Anti-Trafficking Socialization

In 2023, WCR Indonesia collaborated with what was then called the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI) and is now the Ministry of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI), to conduct socialization activities with a total of at least 1500 participants, most of whom were students and pupils. This activity took place at 6 educational institutions in Jakarta and Pariaman City by inviting various speakers from BP2MI and the Police to share knowledge about PMI regulations, forms of human trafficking and gender-based violence that could be a threat to PMI and prospective PMI.
